Bosch repairs across Brisbane

Quality Appliance Repairs is an authorised Bosch service agent, covering manufacturer warranty and out-of-warranty repairs on Bosch domestic and commercial appliances across metropolitan Brisbane — cooktops, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers — with same-day appointments available in most suburbs. Most Bosch faults are single-component repairs in the $150–$320 range, and parts remain available through Bosch’s Australian supply network.

Bosch is a premium German engineering brand — home appliances carrying the Bosch name are manufactured by BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, which has been wholly owned by the Bosch Group since 2015. It’s a brand we attend regularly across Brisbane kitchens and laundries, and across commercial sites too. Build quality is generally strong, so the faults we see tend to be specific component failures rather than whole-of-appliance breakdowns.

Bosch is one of the most common brands we service across Brisbane kitchens and laundries. Dishwashers, washing machines and ovens make up the bulk of our Bosch callouts, drawn from our job logs.

Dishwasher

Freestanding and underbench. Most common fault: E15 flood-related drainage faults and spigot blockages.

Washing Machine

Front-loaders and combo units. Most common fault: drain hose/pump blockages and control board faults.

Oven

Built-in electric. Most common fault: fan-forced element failure, sometimes alongside dirt or fat buildup around the element causing smoking on fan-forced mode.

Dryer

Heat pump and combo units. Most common fault: pulley wheel wear and heating element failure.

Cooktops

Gas and induction. Most common fault: blocked gas injectors and cracked induction glass or no-power faults.

Fridge

French door and freestanding. Most common fault: rear drainage blockages causing ice buildup or freezer flooding, and ice maker faults.

Here’s how commonly required parts are handled, including what may be available for the first visit and what may need to be ordered.

The Verdict

SENIOR TECHNICIAN

As an authorised Bosch agent, we see a lot of these appliances, and the German engineering reputation generally holds up. Dishwashers are what we’re called out for most, and drainage issues are the main theme: E15 flood codes, blocked spigots and water pooling where it shouldn’t. A lot of these jobs come down to something getting into the drain line rather than a major component failure.

Ovens are where Bosch’s build quality really shows. The fan-forced element is one of the parts we eventually replace as it wears, which is fairly typical across appliance brands. Dryers are a slightly different story, with pulley wheels and heating elements being the parts we replace most often, and both are generally straightforward fixes. Cooktops depend on the model: gas units can develop blocked injectors, while induction units can suffer glass damage from heavy impact. Both are generally straightforward repairs and tend to come down to normal day-to-day use.

Common questions from our Brisbane customers.

Who makes Bosch appliances?

Bosch-branded home appliances are made by BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, a German manufacturer that has been wholly owned by the Bosch Group since 2015 (previously a joint venture between Bosch and Siemens, founded in 1967). BSH is one of Europe’s largest home appliance manufacturers and also produces the Siemens, Gaggenau and Neff brands.

Are Bosch parts available in Australia?

Yes. Bosch is one of the most-serviced brands in our network — #2 by volume in Queensland in 2025 — and dishwasher and washing machine parts in particular are well stocked. Most common faults (drain hoses, drain pumps, flow sensors, fan-forced elements) are held in our warehouse, with a Bosch washing machine drain pump carried directly on our vans for same-day fixes.

Are you an authorised Bosch service agent in Brisbane?

Yes. We’re an authorised service agent for Bosch across both domestic and commercial appliances, covering manufacturer warranty repairs as well as out-of-warranty work, using genuine Bosch parts.

How much does a Bosch appliance repair cost in Brisbane?

The cost of a Bosch appliance repair depends on the appliance, fault, model and parts required. For residential Bosch appliances, our current premium-brand service call is $220 + GST, while commercial Bosch appliance service calls start from $260 + GST. The first visit includes up to 30 minutes of diagnosis or qualified repair work. If additional labour or parts are required, these are quoted separately before further work proceeds. There is no additional call-out fee for a return visit when a part needs to be ordered.

Our technicians assess the appliance first and explain the repair options before proceeding, so you know what is required rather than being pushed towards replacement.

How long does a Bosch repair take in Brisbane?

It depends on the part. Washing machine drain pump faults are usually fixed same day, since that part is carried on our vans. Most other common Bosch faults — dishwasher hoses, oven elements, cooktop ignition boxes, dryer pulleys — are warehouse-stocked and typically resolved within 1–3 business days. Where a part isn’t in regular stock, it can take 5–7 business days.
